In 2007, Joshua Cain Platt obtained his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (B.Sc. Chem.) from the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada. In 2017, he completed his Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) which a specialization of Entrepreneurial Management from the Australian Institute of Business (AIB) in Adelaide, Australia. With the entrepreneurial spark, he relocated to Burns Lake, British Columbia with his wife, Mikel and their three children.

In the span of six-months, Joshua incorporated Phase Chem Services Limited (PCS) and Honor Guard Safety Limited (HGS). At the same time, Joshua and Mikel launched Kingdom Quilts (KQ), which focuses on Mikel’s desire to share her passion of the artisan trades as a quilter.

In the fall of 2025, we launched the division of Beaker Training Services to create an agile offering as an alternative to the traditional post-secondary programs, which would focus on the short-term financial benefits for these institutions at the expense of the long-term success of the students.
